Heat Safety
FIRST AID FOR OVER-EXPOSURE TO HOT TEMPERATURES - HEAT INDUCED ILLNESS
When a child's body temperature becomes dangerously high, as a result of being in hot conditions, it can result in a heat-induced illness such as HEAT EXHAUSTION or HEAT STROKE.

Heat stroke is the more serious condition and can be life threatening. It is important to know what physical signs to look for, how to treat the conditions and when to seek help from emergency services.

 Anyone is welcome to report any criminal activity which threatens child safety. Crime Stoppers welcomes information on freecall 1800 333 000. A caller should share specific crime details (Who did what to whom, where and when?) Callers do not need to give their name. Telephones at the Crime Stoppers call centre do not reveal call numbers. Calls are not taped. Crime Stoppers does not trace calls. They are only interested in the information which comes forward. Details are then passed to police for follow-up investigation.
